Loughlin Deegan, Partner
Loughlin Deegan is a Partner in the Employment Law Department at ByrneWallace. He acts for both employees and employers.
His clients include individuals; large multinational companies; indigenous Irish companies; trade unions, Government departments and State agencies.
Mr Deegan formerly served as special adviser to the Attorney General, Rory Brady. For eight years, he served as a solicitor in the Employment and Equality Law Unit in IBEC, most lately as Acting Head of Employment Law.
Loughlin is the Chairperson of the Employment and Equality Law Committee of the Law Society. Furthermore, Mr Deegan has extensive experience advising parties to grievance, disciplinary and bullying investigations.
He has represented parties in the Workplace Relations Commission and the Labour Court, as well as in mediation and industrial-relations processes.
