Michelle Linnane, Solicitor
Michelle Linnane was a partner for 15 years in one of the big 5 firms before moving to an international company acting and advising in the acquisition, leasing and disposal of commercial assets. She subsequently established a practice providing specialist advice to colleagues/firms throughout the country in all property matters. She lectures on the Professional Practice, Diploma, Certificate and CPD courses of the law society and was an external examiner for the Law Society for the period 2000-2015. She has given lectures to the DSBA and was on their subcommittee drafting the DSBA current Residential Tenancy Agreement. She is co-author of the Oxford University Press manual on landlord and tenant law since its first edition in 2000 (currently in its 6th edition) and co-author of the Law School e-Manual on complex conveyancing. She is also an expert witness in conveyancing matters. Michelle Linnane is qualified as an attorney at the New York bar and as a solicitor in the UK. In 2014 she lectured in three universities in Vietnam under the International Rule of Law programme.
